Performance Review follow-up

To help employees reflect on their development, what is missing and what they can do to move forward is the foundation in each employee’s development. The professional development discussion is an excellent tool for managers to coach employees. Unfortunately, managers are seldom given feedback on these discussions, and don’t know what can be improved. There is much to extract from that feedback; to increase the significance of the discussions improves leadership and competence development. To see the discussion as a dialogue between two parties is an important success factor.
